Afternoon Tea 2021

Event Details

Afternoon Tea, presented by Kimberly-Clark Foundation, is your opportunity to meet Club members, encourage them, celebrate with them and hear firsthand the difference the Club makes in their lives. Women from the community will gather together on Wednesday, July 14th from 12-2 at the Oshkosh Country Club to sip tea and punch, enjoy a light lunch and congratulate Club girl members on their completion of a series of character and healthy lifestyle classes.

Ladies are welcome to wear brightly colored suits and dresses and bring their hats and gloves!

A short program will feature inspiring words from lead speaker Mona Dixon. Mona was homeless sleeping on the streets and in shelters until age 13. A few short years later she received the coveted Boys & Girls Clubs of America “National Youth of the Year Award,” and was appointed to serve as the youngest member of the U.S. Presidential Committee. You can learn more about Mona at: monadixon.com.
