Future Community Center staff
Job Summary:
This position will manage and oversee the operations of the Hyde Community Center.
This position will manage all internal and external partnerships needed to facilitate the goals of the Community Center. This position will ensure that all community services are delivered in a nurturing, timely, and trauma-informed manner and in accordance with agency and partnership policies and procedures.
In addition, this position will oversee and manage the database system which provides the virtual infrastructure necessary to connect partner agencies to serve clients more efficiently and effectively, streamline referrals amongst partner agencies, and accurately track our impact. This position will manage the administrative work needed to maintain the database and associated training, support, and administrative functions necessary to support the system. This position will provide oversight, guide user adoption and integration, and provide end user support of the system. This position will work with representatives from all partner agencies to accomplish project goals, ultimately facilitating a streamlined intake, referral, and engagement tracking system for clients.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred in an area of development for nonprofit organizations.
● Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
● Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and partnerships with a Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, donors, community groups and other agencies.
● Commitment to role model and promote a lifestyle of health, wellness and fitness.
● Computer skills competency, including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Desktop Publishing, donor database management.
Job Responsibilities:
Community Center-
● Work to develop, manage, grow and strengthen collaborative partnership and alliances that improve the vision, mission and goals and services of the community center. To include building relationships with community service agencies, faith based organizations, community leaders, government officials and community residents.
● Creates expectations and oversees the culture that ensures that all clients are treated with dignity and respect
● Manage community center and community partners in the center to oversee daily operation. Including but not limited to scheduling, memorandums of understanding agreements, building collaborations, tracking outcomes, budget and facility management.
● Ensure community partners are adhering to community center policies, procedures and standards
● Coordinate the monthly education series between Club staff and community partners.
● Collaborate with partners, team members and other internal departments to continuously improve communication with, programing and service for, partners and clients.
● Work as an effective change agent by listening, establishing relationships, gaining consensus, establishing credibility with and again confidence of multiple partners across the community center
● Assist with the identification and development of new partnerships and key collaborative arrangements with community groups and other organizations to help achieve the goals of the organization and the community center
● Assist with fundraising efforts, new grant applications and other funding opportunities that support the work of the community center. This includes efforts to ensure compliance with funder requirements and preparing progress and final reports as needed.
● Schedule and facilitate regular meetings, events, and training related to community center partnership.
● Identify and address the technical assistance needs of community partners and create solutions to address these needs.
● In collaboration with the CEO, lead the development of the community center mission, vision and strategic planning process.
● Create and implement a community center community engagement plan in collaboration with CEO
● Work with the Director of Marketing & Communications to develop an appropriate brand and marketing strategy to support the community center
● Create the infrastructure for ongoing project management of all community center related projects
● Represent Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh Community Center at community meetings.
Database
● Work in collaboration with the database provider to maintain the database
● Maintain and update as necessary the partners and program-specific engagement plans related to database utilization.
● Administration of Salesforce application including but not limited to creation and deactivation of user profiles, monitoring the CDS email address, Salesforce Bug Queue
end user support, system updates and maintenance, and ongoing relationship with developers to manage ad-hoc service agreements.
● Develop, coordinate, and implement training and supporting documentation (e.g., End User Manual) around the database and all its components and functionality.
General
● Mandated child abuse reporter.
● Handles other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
● Promote the area of health, wellness and fitness to our membership.
● Develop and maintain a highly visible role in the community, with an emphasis on key partnerships and relationship building to benefit the Club.
● Represents and supports volunteer efforts through identifying and promoting the Club to create general public awareness.
● Supports donor relationships as assigned by the CEO or on as needed basis.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
● Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
● Ability to think clearly and concisely.
● Ability to lead and conduct tours in buildings and school sites, including those only having stair access.
