Teen Summer Program

All teen Club members are welcome in The CLUB Teen Center every day after 11:30 a.m. Teens can participate in a wide variety of activities, tournaments and programs, video games, computers, sports, music, cooking classes, and daily challenges and games. Teens who would like to come to the Club before 11:30 a.m. must sign up to participate in special week long camps or be Junior Staff members. Lunch and snack will be served each afternoon. There will be no fee for teen members from 11:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. There is no cap on the number of teens who can come to the CLUB Teen Center every day.

Summer Camps

The CLUB Teen Center will offer a series of week long camps that will take place from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. every day Monday through Friday. Some of the camps will be on site, and some will take place at locations like Fox Valley Technical College. If a camp is off site and not within walking distance, transportation will be provided. Camps include, but are not limited to: Pools & Parks, Fishing, Cooking, Volleyball, 3-D Printing, Robotics, STEM experiments, Community Service, Knitting & Sewing, Exploring Music, Adventure Games, Animals, Painting, Basketball, Woodworking, Football, Extreme Sports, Baking and more! Each camp will have a fee, ranging from $5.00 to $100.00 depending on the camp. To get the most out of the different camps, teens should plan to participate in all days each camp is held. Teens who participate in the camps are required to sign up for summer services and pay the weekly camp fee.

Signups for teen camps begins May 1st, 2018 and can be completed by contacting Teen Center Program Director Liz Karlovich at 920-233-1414, ext. 12 or elizabethk@bgcosh.org. Teen field trips, camp dates and further info will be available on our website calendar May 1st.

Expectations

Teens are expected to behave according to our Club rules found in our Parent Handbook. Youth who choose not to follow these expectations will not be able to participate in our summer program.

Apparel Sale

Teens will be offered the opportunity to participate in an apparel sale to raise funds for camps and full day field trips. The apparel sale will take place in April, 2018.

Jr. Staff / Teens 2 Work

Teens in high school can sign up to be a part of our Teens 2 Work program and middle schoolers can sign up to be a Jr. Staff. Broken down into 4 levels, the Teens 2 Work program is designed to help teens develop crucial job and life skills and eventually work their way into community employment in an area they might be interested in pursuing after high school.

Camp Radford

Teens will have two day trips to Camp Radford this summer. Most age groups will have an option to sign up for an overnight trip as well for an additional fee. For more information on the number of different activities kids can participate in while at camp, please visit our Camp Radford page.

Middle School Time

Middle School Time will be every day from 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. All youth in groups 7, 8, 9 and 10 will be able to participate in the Teen Center. Older teens can participate in the Teen Center during Middle School Time as well.
