Teen Summer Program

***We are busy getting ready for summer at the Club which will officially begin Monday, June 1, 2020. The new location for teens this summer will be Peace Lutheran Church. Registration will be required as space is very limited. For information on our Teen program, contact the Teen Center Program Director at elizabethk@bgcosh.org.***

All teen Club members are welcome in The CLUB Teen Center every day after 9:00 a.m. The CLUB Teen Center includes a fitness center, tech center, lounge, games room and concession area. The CLUB games room is fully equipped with pool tables, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, and six 43” TV screens for video games! Lunch and snack will be served each afternoon. There will be weekly fee for teen members. There is also no cap on the number of teens who can come to the CLUB Teen Center every day.

Expectations

Teens are expected to behave according to our Club rules found in our Parent Handbook. Youth who choose not to follow these expectations will not be able to participate in our summer program.

The CLUB Teen Center Hours

9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday

Any teen that chooses to be in the building between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. must participate in Club programming. Teens have the option to participate in programming in the afternoons. The yearly Club membership fee of $25 must be paid before a teen can attend regular teen center hours. Field trip fees must be paid before the date of the trip for the teen to be eligible to attend. Any questions regarding the CLUB Teen Center should be directed to the Teen Center Program Director at 920-233-1414, ext. 112.

Middle School Time

Middle school time will be Monday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. All middle school aged members are welcome into the teen center during this time to get a glimpse of the CLUB experience!

Summer Weekly Trips

Each week teens will have the opportunity to sign up for a field trip that will take place on Friday. Each trip is a first come first served basis, and they must sign up no later than the day before the trip takes place in order to participate (with the exception of the Camping Trip). Teen field trip info will be available on our website starting May 1st and will also be posted in the Teen Center.Teens may earn a free field trip by participating in 5 programs the week of the trip and also participating in our Tuesday community service trips.

  • TNT Obstacle Course
  • Timber Rattlers Baseball Game
  • High Cliff State Park Hike and Swim

College Trips

This summer, teens will have the opportunity to take a monthly trip to tour some of Wisconsin’s college campuses and learn about post-secondary education options. Locations will be determined based off of availability of tours. Contact the Graduation and Career Coordinator for more details at 920-252-5589.

Pollock Pool Trips

Every Monday afternoon teens have an opportunity to go to Pollock Pool. A Club staff will be transporting teens to and from the pool. Cost of admission to the pool is not covered, so teens should bring money with them to get into the pool. Permission slips will be available starting May 1st.          

Community Service Trips

Every Tuesday afternoon teens will have the opportunity to participate in local service projects. This will help them learn job skills and take pride in their community.

Teens 2 Work

Work at EAA! This is a paid program for any teen aged 14 & up with a work permit, who would like to gain useful employment skills and knowledge. Teens must complete an interview in order to be considered for a position, as well as daily evaluations and progress reports each time they work. Teens wanting to participate will need to attend Career Launch and Money Matters. Teen staff will be taking teens to the EAA grounds to work with Babalou Enterprises, LLC selling ice cream. Applications can be picked up at the Teen Center starting June 1st, 2020.
