Last week, our Character & Empowerment Class was a beautiful reminder that kindness has a way of bringing out the best in all of us. 💙👑✨
Our Club girls spent the afternoon with volunteers from Oshkosh Corporation's Good to Give Back program, discovering that one of the greatest strengths we can have is lifting others up.
Together, they worked as a team, filled one another's "heart boxes" with colorful gems by sharing genuine compliments, and designed crowns decorated with the words and qualities that make each of them unique. As the room filled with encouragement, laughter, and positivity, the girls were reminded that confidence grows not only when we recognize our own strengths, but when we help others recognize theirs too.
The biggest lesson of the day? Every girl has something special to offer, and when we celebrate each other's differences, everyone shines a little brighter.
A heartfelt thank you to the Oshkosh Corporation volunteers for creating such a meaningful experience and helping our girls see the incredible value in themselves and one another. ... See MoreSee Less

Camp days are the best days! ☀️🌲💙
Our Great Explorers had an unforgettable time at Camp Radford, making the most of everything camp has to offer. From racing down the slip & slide and catching frogs to playing Gaga Ball and spending the day outdoors with friends, every moment was filled with laughter, adventure, and a little bit of mud. 🐸💦
Throughout the summer, each of our program groups gets the opportunity to spend time at Camp Radford, giving every member a chance to unplug, explore the outdoors, build friendships, and create memories they'll never forget.
Funding to take members to Camp Radford was provided by a Hiwela Youth Campership Grant from the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation. Thank you so much for the support!
There's just something special about a day at Camp! 💙😄 ... See MoreSee Less

While field trips and special adventures are some of our favorite summer moments, so much of the magic happens right here at the Club every day.
Our members are spending their time building with LEGOs, diving into books, creating, learning, playing games, and staying active with their friends.
From academics and creativity to athletics and teamwork, every activity gives youth a chance to learn something new, build confidence, and have fun along the way. ... See MoreSee Less

From farm to table, our Quest members got to see where it all begins! 🚜🌽💙
During a recent trip to the Food + Farm Exploration Center in Plover, members explored the journey food takes from the farm to our plates through hands-on exhibits and interactive learning.
They discovered how crops are grown, learned about Wisconsin agriculture, explored modern farming technology, and gained a better understanding of the people and processes that help feed our communities.
The best field trips are the ones where kids don't even realize how much they're learning, and this was definitely one of those days! 🌾✨ ... See MoreSee Less

Sometimes it’s the little things that make a special day feel even more special🌸
Afternoon Tea is one of our favorite traditions because it gives our girls the chance to dress up, celebrate their accomplishments, and enjoy a day filled with laughter, encouragement, and friendship. After spending the summer building confidence and discovering their strengths through our Character & Empowerment program, they get to step into the spotlight and be celebrated by the community cheering them on.
A heartfelt thank you to our Flip Flop Sponsors—Bob & Sidonia Burnell, Dr. Laurie Muller, Old Navy, Omni Glass & Paint LLC, Oshkosh Area Women’s Association, Jeff & Ann Trembly, and Beth Wyman—for helping make this special experience possible. Your generosity helps create those little moments that bring big smiles and lasting memories for our girls. 💙
We’d love for you to join us on Wednesday, July 29, at the Gibson Social Club for an afternoon of tea, inspiration, and celebrating these amazing young leaders. 🌸

☀️ WOW... you showed up! 💙
Because of this incredible community, Operation: Sunscreen wrapped up with more than 200 bottles of sunscreen donated for our Club kids!
Every bottle represents someone who chose to help local youth have a safe, fun-filled summer. Whether you dropped off sunscreen, made a gift, shared our posts, or encouraged others to get involved, thank you. Your support means more than you know.
A special thank you to our amazing partners, Discover Oshkosh and Westhaven Golf Club, for hosting donation bins throughout the campaign.
The best part? These donations are already hard at work protecting kids as they spend their days playing outside, exploring on field trips, and making unforgettable summer memories.
From all of us at the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh, thank you for helping us make this summer a little brighter, a little safer, and a whole lot more fun. We couldn't do it without you. ☀️💙

Curiosity was in full swing at Discovery World! 🔬🌊💙
Our Radford members recently spent the day exploring Discovery World in Milwaukee, where they got to dive into hands-on exhibits, discover how science and technology shape our world, and let their curiosity lead the way.
From interactive experiments to exciting discoveries, there was something around every corner to explore. We love giving our members opportunities to learn through experience, ask questions, and see just how fun discovering something new can be.
What a great day of learning, exploring, and making memories together! ☀️ ... See MoreSee Less
