Omro has been on the go! โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

Our Omro members have been making the most of summer with adventures near and far. From exploring Camp Radford, cheering on the Timber Rattlers, discovering new things at the NEW Zoo, and other fun field trips, our members have been busy creating memories and trying new experiences with their friends.

Summer at the Club is all about getting out, having fun, and giving kids opportunities to explore places they may not visit every day. We love seeing our Omro members laugh, learn, and make the most of every adventure!

A trip to Titletown was a touchdown! ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›

Our members recently spent the day exploring Lambeau Field and Titletown, and they had a blast taking it all in. From touring the stadium and learning about the history to Walking through the tunnel and letting out a few big โ€œGO PACK GO!โ€ cheers, there were plenty of smiles throughout the day. ๐Ÿ“ฃ

It was a day full of smiles, excitement, and memories our members will be talking about for a long time!

๐ŸŒธ One of the best parts of Afternoon Tea is watching our girls realize just how much they've grown.

Throughout the summer, they've built confidence, tried new things, encouraged one another, and discovered that their voices matter. Afternoon Tea is a chance to celebrate those moments together and remind each girl just how special she is.

A heartfelt thank you to our Tote Bag Sponsor, 4imprint, for helping make this meaningful day even more memorable. Your generosity helps create an experience our girls will remember long after the afternoon comes to an end. ๐Ÿ’™

We'd love for you to join us next Wednesday, July 29, at the Gibson Social Club for an afternoon of tea, inspiration, and celebrating these incredible young leaders!

๐ŸŒธ One of the best

Last week, our Character & Empowerment Class was a beautiful reminder that kindness has a way of bringing out the best in all of us. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ‘‘โœจ

Our Club girls spent the afternoon with volunteers from Oshkosh Corporation's Good to Give Back program, discovering that one of the greatest strengths we can have is lifting others up.

Together, they worked as a team, filled one another's "heart boxes" with colorful gems by sharing genuine compliments, and designed crowns decorated with the words and qualities that make each of them unique. As the room filled with encouragement, laughter, and positivity, the girls were reminded that confidence grows not only when we recognize our own strengths, but when we help others recognize theirs too.

The biggest lesson of the day? Every girl has something special to offer, and when we celebrate each other's differences, everyone shines a little brighter.

A heartfelt thank you to the Oshkosh Corporation volunteers for creating such a meaningful experience and helping our girls see the incredible value in themselves and one another.

Camp days are the best days! โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒฒ๐Ÿ’™

Our Great Explorers had an unforgettable time at Camp Radford, making the most of everything camp has to offer. From racing down the slip & slide and catching frogs to playing Gaga Ball and spending the day outdoors with friends, every moment was filled with laughter, adventure, and a little bit of mud. ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿ’ฆ

Throughout the summer, each of our program groups gets the opportunity to spend time at Camp Radford, giving every member a chance to unplug, explore the outdoors, build friendships, and create memories they'll never forget.

Funding to take members to Camp Radford was provided by a Hiwela Youth Campership Grant from the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation. Thank you so much for the support!

There's just something special about a day at Camp! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ˜„

While field trips and special adventures are some of our favorite summer moments, so much of the magic happens right here at the Club every day.

Our members are spending their time building with LEGOs, diving into books, creating, learning, playing games, and staying active with their friends.

From academics and creativity to athletics and teamwork, every activity gives youth a chance to learn something new, build confidence, and have fun along the way.

From farm to table, our Quest members got to see where it all begins! ๐Ÿšœ๐ŸŒฝ๐Ÿ’™

During a recent trip to the Food + Farm Exploration Center in Plover, members explored the journey food takes from the farm to our plates through hands-on exhibits and interactive learning.

They discovered how crops are grown, learned about Wisconsin agriculture, explored modern farming technology, and gained a better understanding of the people and processes that help feed our communities.

The best field trips are the ones where kids don't even realize how much they're learning, and this was definitely one of those days! ๐ŸŒพโœจ
