A day at Devilβs Lake State Park! π₯Ύπ²
At the end of summer, our Teen members took on the trails at Devilβs Lake, starting with an easier hike around the lake before a few adventurous hikers decided to take on a much more challenging route.
That trail included a steep 500-foot climb, rocky and dirt paths, and about an hour of hiking before making their way back down the bluff and to the beach. A big shoutout to the five who decided to take on the challenge! What started as a simple hike turned into quite the adventure.
We love seeing our members try something new, challenge themselves, and make memories along the way! π ...

π₯οΈπ A little time together goes a long way!
Our staff and Board members recently enjoyed an evening on the water aboard the Showboat II through Fin βN Feather. It was a great opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, enjoy some time together, and strengthen the connections that make our Club community so special.
A huge thank you to Board Member Patty Shea and her husband, Dan, of Shea Electric & Communications for making this experience possible for our staff and Board! We truly appreciate your generosity and thoughtfulness. π
And, of course, thank you to our incredible staff and Board members for the time, energy, and heart you give to the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh. Weβre grateful for each of you and everything you do for our members and families! π ...

Did you know our Club provides transportation from local schools to the Club during the school year? π
Getting to an after-school program isnβt always easy for families. Thatβs why the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh helps members get safely from school to the Club.
During the 2025β26 school year, an average of 183 youth were transported to the Club each day! By helping remove transportation as a barrier, more youth can access the opportunities waiting for them at the Club, from homework help and STEM activities to sports, enrichment, healthy meals, friendships and a safe place to belong.
Transportation is more than a ride. Itβs a connection to the programs and relationships that help youth learn, grow and reach their potential. π

Our CEO Tracy Ogden and Director of Advancement Alex Hummel recently joined Governor Tony Evers at the Wisconsin Executive Residence outside of Madison for a Year of the Neighbor Celebration, recognizing βneighborhood heroes and those that serve the community and Wisconsin.β
Weβre grateful to Governor Evers and his team for the invitation and the opportunity to celebrate the people and organizations working to make Wisconsin stronger.
At the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh, being a good neighbor means listening to our youth, families, and community and responding to their needs. Weβre proud to be part of a community that continues to show up for one another and create opportunities for local youth to learn, grow, and thrive. π
