โ˜€๏ธ What a summer itโ€™s been! ๐Ÿ’™

From STEM challenges and sports to field trips, swimming, Camp Radford, and everything in between, our members packed this summer with plenty of fun, learning, and new experiences. ๐Ÿ•๏ธ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ”ฌ๐ŸŠโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸšŒ

There were big adventures, everyday moments, lots of laughter, and so many memories made with friends.

A huge thank you to our Club families, staff, volunteers, and community partners who helped make Summer 2026 such a great one. We couldnโ€™t have done it without you! ๐Ÿ’™

Did you know our Club provides transportation from local schools to the Club during the school year? ๐ŸšŒ

Getting to an after-school program isnโ€™t always easy for families. Thatโ€™s why the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh helps members get safely from school to the Club.

During the 2025โ€“26 school year, an average of 183 youth were transported to the Club each day! By helping remove transportation as a barrier, more youth can access the opportunities waiting for them at the Club, from homework help and STEM activities to sports, enrichment, healthy meals, friendships and a safe place to belong.

Transportation is more than a ride. Itโ€™s a connection to the programs and relationships that help youth learn, grow and reach their potential. ๐Ÿ’œ

Learn more about how transportation helps make after-school programming more accessible for local youth on our blog!

Did you know our Clu

Our CEO Tracy Ogden and Director of Advancement Alex Hummel recently joined Governor Tony Evers at the Wisconsin Executive Residence outside of Madison for a Year of the Neighbor Celebration, recognizing โ€œneighborhood heroes and those that serve the community and Wisconsin.โ€

Weโ€™re grateful to Governor Evers and his team for the invitation and the opportunity to celebrate the people and organizations working to make Wisconsin stronger.

At the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh, being a good neighbor means listening to our youth, families, and community and responding to their needs. Weโ€™re proud to be part of a community that continues to show up for one another and create opportunities for local youth to learn, grow, and thrive. ๐Ÿ’™

Last week, our Great Explorers wrapped up the Michael Phelps Swim Program, and we couldnโ€™t be more proud of everything they accomplished! From learning new skills to building confidence in the water, our members worked hard and had plenty of fun along the way. ๐Ÿ’™

A huge thank you to the Michael Phelps Foundation and the Oshkosh YMCA for making this opportunity possible for our youth. Your support gives our members the chance to learn important water safety skills, challenge themselves, and try something new.

Weโ€™re so proud of our Great Explorers! ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŒŸ

A pretty wild day at the zoo! ๐Ÿฆ’โ˜€๏ธ

One of our favorite ways to wrap up summer programming is a trip to the Milwaukee County Zoo! Last week, members from across our Oshkosh programs, including Great Explorers, Radford, and Quest, spent the day exploring the zoo, checking out the animals, and enjoying time together.

It was a fun way to wrap up a busy summer full of new experiences, field trips, and memories.

And just like thatโ€ฆ summer 2026 is in the books! ๐ŸŽ‰

What makes Camp Radford so special? Just ask our campers! ๐ŸŒฒโ˜€๏ธ

This summer, our members spent their days exploring, playing, trying new things, making friends, and making plenty of memories at Camp Radford.

We asked a few of our campers what their favorite parts of Camp are, and their answers say it all! From favorite activities to the little moments that make Camp feel like Camp, thereโ€™s something special about hearing it straight from the kids. ๐Ÿ’™

Press play to see Camp Radford through their eyes! ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ•๏ธ

A summer at Camp Radford is more than just a place to go. Itโ€™s a place to belong, explore, and just be a kid. ๐Ÿ’™
