Summer Program

The Club’s summer programs give youth ages 5-18* a safe and affordable place to go all day during the week while parents are at work. The Club offers a dynamic learning environment that includes fun and impactful age-appropriate programs, mentoring by caring adult professionals, free, healthy meals, and outstanding facilities. Youth enjoy coming to the Club in the summer and making lifelong friendships, all while learning the appropriate skills to become responsible young adults!

Families have to have no outstanding fees due in order to register for our Summer Program.

Membership to the Club is required to join us for the summer and must be paid before registering. Head to parentportal.bgcosh.org to sign up for membership. Scholarships are available based on household income. The membership fee that you have paid will expire August 31, 2025. The membership year is September 1-August 31. A new membership will need to be purchased to register for fall programming and transportation. Membership fees are non-refundable.

Fees: $90 per week (ages 5-11), additional children are $70. 12-18 year olds do not have a weekly fee. Fees are charged for optional field trips and activities.

  • There is no initial cost to register for our Summer Programs. The first week’s payment is due April 4th to secure your spot. (no refunds on first week payments).
  • 5-year-olds must have completed kindergarten to be enrolled.
  • Families receive 1 week of no payment (vacation week) during summer. This is for a M-F of no attendance during 1 week. The vacation week cannot be split.
  • Scholarships are available for qualifying families. You may download and print the Scholarship form here and return your completed form to our Radford or Quest/Teen front desks. Forms are due by February 21. If your child is ages 5-6, county assistance can be applied for.
  • Late Fee: There is a late fee for pick up after 5:30 p.m.
  • A two weeks notice needs to be given to stop payments or to unenroll a child from a program. A refund will not be given if the 2 weeks notice is not received.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch and a snack are served to all Club members daily during the summer. Breakfast is served between 8:15 – 9:15 a.m., lunch is served between 11:00 a.m. – 12:50 p.m., and snack is served between 1:45 – 3:30 p.m.**

Field Trips

Members get the opportunity to enjoy at least one field trip per week during our summer program. Additional fees may apply for some of our field trips. Youth get to visit local parks, pools and beaches, nature centers, water parks, zoos and more!

Omro Summer Program

2025 Program Info:

The Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh offers a state-licensed summer program for the Omro Area School District students. Programming will include arts & crafts, gross motor activities, STEM activities, field trips, Library Club, Picnics in the Parks, and much more.

Dates:

  • Session 1: June 9th-June 27th, 11:45am-5:30pm**
  • Session 2: June 30th-August 15th, 7:00am-5:30pm** 

(Closed July 3rd & July 4th)

Ages 5-12 (5-year-olds must have completed kindergarten or have been in our 4k program)

Session 1: $65 per week, additional children are $45 per week

Session 2: $90.00 per week, additional children are $70 per week

**The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), which is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and is administered by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, provides nutritious meals to children during the summer when free and reduced-price school meals are typically unavailable. Free meals will be made available to children 18 years of age and under. Persons over 18 years of age who are determined by a state or local public educational agency to be mentally or physically disabled and who also participate in a public or private non-profit school program during the regular school year may receive free meals as well.

The following Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh locations serve free meals over the summer: 501 E Parkway Ave. in Oshkosh and the Omro Program site. Breakfast, lunch, and a snack are served between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (approx.). Meals are provided to eligible children regardless of race, color, national origin, age, gender or disability and there will be no discrimination in the course of meal service.
