Help Send Youth to Camp Radford

Camp Radford is a special experience that all Club kids should be able to take part in. However, many of our member’s families have a hard time making ends meet and their budgets are tight, so sending their children to camp, especially for an overnight trip, is an extra expense they simply cannot afford. Many members are only able to take advantage of this unique opportunity because they receive a special camp scholarship.

Cost of Camp

In 2012, 23% of kids who attended camp were provided with scholarships. It costs the Club $10,000 to operate the camp for one summer including staffing, transportation, meals, overnight supplies and maintenance costs. In addition to regular operating costs, the Club grew the camp in 2015-2017 by building additional facilities that accommodates more campers.

Donate to Camp Radford

Please help the Club continue to offer the unique experience of summer camp to kids and consider making a donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh’s Camp Radford in one of the following ways:

• Donate to the Camp Radford Scholarship Fund
• Start a Camp Radford Endowment Fund
• Donate needed outdoors equipment (contact the Club for more details)
• Make an annual gift to the Club designated to Camp Radford
