The Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh is pleased to announce that Katie Talken has been promoted to Director of Development & Strategic Initiatives. In this new role, Katie will be in charge of managing our events including, WineFeast, Afternoon Tea and Youth of the Year, working with the board, donors and friends of the Club, managing the Club’s 3-year strategic plan and take a lead in the Club’s organization growth initiatives.

Katie has been with the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh for 6 years. She started as the Grants & Outcomes Measurement Coordinator and has been the Development & Grant Director for the last couple of years. During her time here, Katie has helped the Club secure over $2,750,000 in grant funding including multiple large scale, multi-year grants. She has also helped staff to manage their grant funded programs and track their outcomes in the most efficient way. In addition to grants, Katie has assisted with events, helped create and manage the current strategic plan and helped the Club make new collaborative partners.
