The spring season brings a lot of changes to the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh. Although we miss the Club members that have attended our daytime program, we are excited to get back to what we do best – after school programming!
After-School Programs at area schools are now back up and running. This includes our after-school programs at Lakeside Elementary and Shapiro STEM Academy, and the partnering Community Learning Centers throughout the Oshkosh Area School District. Each program is running with maximum enrollment based on staffing and the size of the space available to each program.
The Radford Center and the Club Teen Center are also back to running programs for Club members after school. Our Boys & Girls Club bus brings overflow children from the Oaklawn after-school program to the Club each afternoon.
Wednesday nights from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. are Club Nights. This is reserved for specialty programming for middle and high schoolers. We will be bussing students from area middle schools to the Club for those afternoons. Activities include sports tournaments, cooking classes, laser tag, scavenger hunts and more! Any middle or high school student is welcome to attend, just turn in a membership form and a yearly membership fee of $25.00.
Spring Break registration has started! We will be opening the Club to members Monday – Friday from 6:30 a.m. -5:30 p.m. Breakfast, lunch and a snack is included in the weekly fee of $50.00. Scholarships are available for families if needed. We will offer spots for 160 members in grades K-8. There will be no fee for teens (ages 13-18) and there will be no cap on the number of teens allowed in the building. Spring break runs March 29-April 2.
Spring is great time to be at the Club! We look forward to seeing all of our after-school members!
