Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh is Presented with a Merit Award for Program Excellence

Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh is proud to share that we were the recipient of a prestigious 2018 Merit Award for Program Excellence in Character & Leadership Development from Elizabeth Fowlkes, Senior Vice President, Boys & Girls Clubs of America for our Step Up Anti-Bullying program which is run in partnership with the Oshkosh Police Department. The award was recently presented during BGCA’s 112th National Conference in San Diego. Club CEO Marc Dosogne and Marketing Coordinator Katie Huebner accepted the award on the Club’s behalf. A shout out to Radford Center Director Lori Fields, Teen Center Director Tiffanie Bolling and Detective Vang of the Police Dept. who are instrumental in making this program a success with our youth! Merit Awards for Program Excellence are sponsored by MetLife Foundation and presented annually for outstanding programs developed and implemented to lead youth to great futures at Boys & Girls Clubs across the country. Each honoree also receives a $2,500 award.
