Connecting Families, Creating Memories: Boys & Girls Club Family Nights

January 2, 2025

Did you know the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh hosts Family Nights throughout the year? These special evenings are designed to give parents and caregivers the opportunity to spend meaningful quality time with their children at the Club while strengthening family connections and creating fun lasting memories.

Family Nights provide a welcoming space for families to slow down, enjoy time together and experience the Club alongside their kids. Each event includes a shared meal for families and typically takes place from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., making it easy for families to participate after school and work.

Throughout the year, our Family Nights follow the seasons and offer something for everyone. These nights take place in February, April, October, November and December!

Each April, we wrap up the program year with our annual Family Night Cookout, bringing families together to enjoy a meal, connect with staff and celebrate community.

In October, we host a Halloween Family Night where families can enjoy festive activities, costumes and seasonal fun together.

During November, families are invited to our Thanksgiving Family Night, where every family receives a full Thanksgiving meal at the Club, served by Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh Alumni.

Lastly, in December, we celebrate with a Holiday Family Night featuring a visit from Santa, seasonal activities and a warm meal that is often generously prepared and served by Club alumni.

At the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh we believe supporting youth means supporting the whole family. Family Nights are one of the many ways we create opportunities for families to connect, feel supported and build memories together.

Whether it’s decorating cookies, sharing a holiday meal, enjoying outdoor games, or simply spending an evening together, these nights remind us that the heart of the Club is community, connection and care. We look forward to welcoming families to each event and continuing to provide opportunities for lasting memories and meaningful experiences.
