A New Partnership Creating Great Futures

At the start of the school year, Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh proudly opened its doors at Winneconne Elementary School, bringing high-quality after-school programming to youth in the Winneconne community. This exciting partnership has already made a meaningful impact, with approximately 30 youth participating in the program each day.

The program provides a safe, supportive environment where youth can continue learning and growing beyond the classroom. Each afternoon, members engage in a wide variety of enriching activities designed to support academic success, spark creativity and build essential life skills.

Engaging Programs That Inspire Growth

Youth at the Club participate in hands-on, engaging experiences that make learning fun and meaningful. These opportunities include:

• STEM activities that encourage problem-solving and innovation
• Literacy programs that strengthen reading and communication skills
• Math games that build confidence with numbers
• Journey Around the World, helping youth explore different cultures
• Creative art projects that inspire imagination and self-expression
• 4-H programming that promotes leadership and hands-on learning

These programs not only reinforce what youth learn during the school day, but also help them discover new interests, build friendships and develop confidence in their abilities.

Looking Ahead: Summer Expansion Opportunities

The Club is excited about the success of this partnership and the opportunities it brings for the future. Plans are currently underway to expand programming through a potential summer program in partnership with the Winneconne Community School District.

This summer program aims to serve up to 100 youth, providing even more young people with access to the engaging experiences and supportive environment the Club is known for. From educational enrichment to creative activities and active play, youth will have the opportunity to continue learning, growing and thriving all summer long.
