Stylists

The Club needs hairstylists to help create simple updos and styles for approximately 50 girls on the morning of the Afternoon Tea. You do not have to be a professional stylist.

Afternoon Tea is a great opportunity to give back to the community and create exposure for your salon. Salons and stylists will be recognized during the event program and on social media.

If you’d like to volunteer to style hair for Afternoon Tea, please confirm your participation by Friday, July 12, 2024. Return the participation form to Development & Grants Coordinator, Bethany Ferguson at: bethanyf@bgcosh.org. Questions? Contact Bethany at (920) 233-1414 ext. 122.

Program Assistants

As a part of the Afternoon Tea program, girls ages 7-10 will participate in six Character and Empowerment classes this summer covering various topics from exercise and healthy eating to etiquette and self-esteem. Classes are held on the following Fridays:

• June 14th, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
• June 21st, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
• June 28th, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
• July 12th, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
• July 26th, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
• August 9, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Each of the classes incorporates a hands-on activity that requires adult assistance. This can mean helping girls spell words, creating craft projects, providing encouragement, or assisting with picking out a dress for Afternoon Tea. This is a great opportunity to get to know individual Club members!
