JD is a sophomore in high school this year. Throughout middle school and the first year of high school, he wasn’t involved in anything outside of the school day. He would go to school and then just go home, keeping to himself.

Last year JD joined the Club and since then he has really come out of his shell. He’s worked a seasonal job at EAA and has been on six college tours and four career tours since joining. He is discovering new interests and exploring possibilities for his future. He’s made the goal to go to college for engineering. His self-esteem has skyrocketed, and he keeps asking when the next field trip is going to be!
