Hyde Family and Tracy Ogden Inducted into Wisconsin Boys & Girls Clubs Hall of Fame

November 21, 2025

This year, the Wisconsin Boys & Girls Clubs Hall of Fame welcomed two outstanding honorees from the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh: the Hyde family—Doug & Chrys Hyde and Peg Wachtel—and Tracy Ogden, CEO of the Oshkosh Club.

The Wisconsin Boys & Girls Clubs Hall of Fame honors individuals who have made exceptional contributions to Boys & Girls Clubs across the state—whether through Club membership, board or volunteer service, or other efforts that have significantly benefited one or more Clubs.

The Hyde family was nominated by the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh and selected by past Hall of Fame inductees in recognition of their extraordinary commitment, generosity and long-standing support of the Oshkosh community.

“The Hyde Family’s extraordinary commitment to the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh spans more than four decades and multiple generations. Their legacy of leadership and generosity began with Charles F. Hyde Jr. and Joyce Hyde and continues through their children Doug and his wife Chrys, Peg Wachtel and Thomas Hyde. Since the early 1980s, the Hyde Family has played a transformative role in the growth and life of our Club. They are the most generous, caring, loving, giving people I’ve ever met, and we are so delighted to induct them into our Hall of Fame,” said Sue Ackerman, Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh Past Board President, Current Board Member and Hall of Fame Member.

Tracy Ogden was chosen by WI CEOs who are Hall of Fame recipients for her dedication to advancing the Club’s mission—not only locally in Oshkosh, but also across Wisconsin and on a national level.

“It takes a great CEO to manage all of the intricacies involved in making a local Club successful,” Dan Hebel, CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Fond du Lac, said. “A CEO achieves at a higher level when they extend that passion, knowledge and experience outside of their local Club. Tracy has done that in spades. Her commitment to statewide, regional and national Boys & Girls Club work is truly remarkable. Her representation and care for the Club brand sets her apart and is evidence that she cares deeply about our collective role in shaping the lives of young people. Her contributions to Boys & Girls Clubs will be dutifully recognized with her induction into the Hall of Fame this year.”

Since 2018, the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh has had five previous inductees into the Wisconsin Boys & Girls Club Hall of Fame: Ron Lampe, Jamie Wilcox, Sue Ackerman, Lorie Bunke and Dave Elbing.

The Hall of Fame Dinner took place on Monday, November 17th at the Oshkosh Marriott Waterfront Hotel & Convention Center, in conjunction with the Wisconsin State Conference.
