The Award of Merit goes to a volunteer or contributor who has made an extraordinary contribution of time and/or resources. JEK Foundation has been a strong supporter of the Club for 10 years. They have always been willing to help the Club in different ways from basic needs, mentoring, Camp Radford and even supporting building projects. Their willingness to help the Club in creative ways has meant so much to the youth who attend the Club. Tracy Ogden shared, “We are so grateful for the support the JEK Foundation has given to the Club for operations and basic needs but also during special projects to help further the mission of the Club. Each of the committee members have been a great friend of the Club.” While JEK Foundation has helped financially, their committee members have also helped out the Club in many ways including volunteering with kids for fun projects like May Day Basket making. They have also had members serve of our Youth of the Year committee and on our Strategic Plan committee.
