Darren was born and raised in Oshkosh. He followed in his father’s footsteps and started working at CR Meyer as a general laborer during his college summer break. After graduating from UW Platteville as a Civil Engineer, Darren joined the company as a Project Engineer in 1986. His successful career continued as he moved into project management, followed by management of the Kalamazoo, Michigan office, and then oversight of numerous operations prior to being named President in 2011. Darren joined the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh Board of Directors in April 2020. He values their commitment to youth development and their dedication to providing family outreach support to young people of all ages. Darren and his wife, Kathy, currently reside in Winneconne and have a son, Calvin.
