Turkey Trot 2018

Make the Festival Foods Turkey Trot fun run your family’s Thanksgiving tradition! It’s a great opportunity for everyone (including your dogs!) to get some fitness in before all the calories of the Thanksgiving meal. The 12th annual Turkey Trot will be held on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday November 22nd at 8 A.M. starting at the Menominee Nation Arena, 110 S. Main Street.

The festive five mile run and two mile walk will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh and the Oshkosh Community YMCA. Participants will receive a free long sleeved t-shirt and a Festival Foods 5” Upper Crust pumpkin pie. In addition, the first five male or female runners to cross the finish line will receive a $20 Festival Foods gift card.

Runners or walkers can register at www.festivalfoodsturkeytrot.com. Early registration is open now until October 31st and the cost is $20 for adults and $15 per child. Regular online registration will run from November 1st though the 18th. Cost for adults is $25 and $20 for children. Race Day Eve and Race Day registration cost is $30 per adult and $25 per child. T-shirt sizes will not be guaranteed for those who register on Race Day Eve and Race Day.

In order for this run to be successful, many volunteers are needed to assure all goes smoothly. Positions include course monitors, registration, t-shirt handout, bib handout, and more.
