We Stand in Support of Our Black Colleagues, Families, Youth and Community

The Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh has stood for 50 years to improve the lives of children and families in our community. This has always meant finding any way to help any youth who walks through our doors so they can achieve their dreams. But we know that for many of our youth and families there is a larger system of racism and discrimination that can make achieving their great future difficult.

Your Boys & Girls Club CEO, Staff and Board Members stand out against racism, discrimination and prejudice. We stand in support of our black colleagues, families, youth and community. And we stand in trying to make ourselves, our Club and our community a more equitable place for people of color.

What we are doing right now is having discussions as a staff, providing resources to learn more about racism, having open conversations with our youth and listening so that we may learn. And we are committed to doing more work to end systemic racism. We want to be a part of the solution for a caring and more equitable world. We want to promote acceptance, understanding and kindness so everyone can have a better future. We always want to improve the lives of children and families. -Marc Dosogne, CEO
