Welcome our Newest Staff Member, Katie Pulvermacher

The Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh is excited to welcome Katie Pulvermacher as our new Grant & Outcomes Coordinator.

Katie joined the Club in June 2026 and brings a strong background in communications, storytelling, and community engagement. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Journalism and Advertising, along with certificates in Public Relations and Social Media. During her time at UWO, Katie served as Editor-in-Chief of the independent student newspaper, The Advance-Titan, mentored first-year students, and helped welcome prospective Titans as a campus tour guide.

Her professional experience spans news reporting, higher education, and the nonprofit sector, all of which have strengthened her passion for telling meaningful stories that connect people to important causes. As Grant & Outcomes Coordinator, Katie will help secure resources that support Club programs while sharing the stories of impact made possible through the generosity of donors, partners, and community supporters.

“What I love most about my job is that I am able to positively impact the community and the lives of young individuals,” Katie shared. “It’s fulfilling to collaborate with a group of like-minded individuals committed to creating something greater than ourselves.”

Katie’s favorite words of inspiration come from a fortune cookie message that has traveled with her for more than six years: “Chasing your passion will make you happier.”

Outside of work, Katie enjoys expressing her creativity through watercolor painting and cake decorating. Her love of storytelling, creativity, and community impact make her a wonderful addition to our team.

Please join us in welcoming Katie to the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh family!
