What’s the scoop with Stride Academy?

STRIDE Academy is a web based learning program that incorporates math, reading and science into a fun gaming environment. The program is available for Club members in 1st-8th grades.  Members can access the program at the Club, school, or home at stridestart.com

Our members are required to answer 50 correct questions a week on our STRIDE Academy website. For each question answered correctly members receive online based coins that they can then use to buy real life prizes from stores like 5below.

Members recently competed to earn spots on a field trip to Funset Boulevard in Appleton. These members were the top ten students that completed their 50 questions correct for the month of March. These members were treated to the field trip and a pizza party for all their hard work. Each week every member that completes their requirement is also entered into a raffle prize drawing. Our most recent raffle was a very special one for our club members. Instead of our regular prizes members we’re able to choose their favorite staff to sit with during dinner and receive a dessert treat.

Our next big reward for members will be a very special prize basket auction at the beginning of May. Members will have options to choose from with themed baskets such as bicycle accessories, art supplies and fun science experiment kits. Members will be able to use to coins from their correct answers to bid on each basket. Once our school year draws to an end we continue to run STRIDE Academy for our members. It is a proven tool to use against summer learning loss, especially in literacy.

Parents can help our members with their STRIDE accounts by visiting the stridestart.com website and playing along with their child. You can also encourage use by setting your own personal goals to beat.
