Did you know that our STEM programming continues to be one of the most exciting highlights for Club members this school year? Through hands-on, interactive learning, youth are diving into activities that spark curiosity and build real-world skills in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Thanks to generous grant funding, members have access to an even wider variety of STEM experiences. Under the leadership of Susan Tesch, Director of Academics, our youth participate in innovative, project-based lessons that make learning both fun and meaningful.
One of our featured program series, “How It’s Made”, introduces members to the engineering behind everyday objects like balloons and trucks. Youth explore design concepts, learn construction basics and take an active role in building their own creations.
Another popular series, “Around the World”, encourages members to explore global cultures by sampling traditional foods, studying geographic regions and analyzing cultural art forms. From Chinese dragons to Dutch windmills, these activities help broaden our members’ global perspectives through creative academic enrichment.
Together, these STEM initiatives ignite curiosity, strengthen academic confidence and equip members with valuable skills that will benefit them far beyond the classroom.
A special thank-you to Wisconsin Public Service for their generous grant supporting our STEM programming. Their partnership helps us continue providing meaningful, high-quality learning experiences for our members.
