Camps/Clinics at the Club

At the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh, we periodically offer Camps and Clinics for Club members throughout the year. These special opportunities give youth a chance to learn new skills, stay active, and have fun!

We partner with a variety of organizations to bring these experiences to life, including:

Little Brewers Baseball

Little Brewers Baseball is a first-experience program created to introduce young athletes to the core skills of baseball in a fun and supportive setting. Each session blends exciting drills and interactive games to teach throwing, catching, hitting and base running, while fostering teamwork and confidence.

As with all Radford athletic programs, fun is at the forefront—ensuring every child’s first exposure to baseball is both enjoyable and rewarding. Our dedicated coaching staff creates an uplifting environment, with training methods grounded in modern youth development research.

Offered exclusively during summer programming, Little Brewers Baseball strikes the right balance between skill development and play, helping participants grow physically, gain confidence and build a lifelong love for the game.

Club Tennis: Radford

The Radford Tennis Program introduces young athletes to the lifelong sport of tennis through fun, age-appropriate instruction and play. Drawing from USTA Youth programming, each session incorporates engaging drills and interactive games that teach the fundamentals of serving, rallying, footwork and scoring in a supportive and encouraging environment.

With fun as the foundation, the program ensures every child’s first tennis experience is positive, active and rewarding. Our enthusiastic coaching staff fosters confidence and growth while following proven youth development methods endorsed by the USTA.

Offered in the spring, Radford Tennis strikes the right balance between skill-building and enjoyment—helping children improve physically, gain confidence and discover a lasting love for the game of tennis.

Club Soccer: Radford

Radford Soccer is a first-experience program created to introduce young athletes to the world’s most popular sport. Drawing directly from MLS Youth programming, each session features engaging drills and age-appropriate games designed to teach the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork in a supportive environment.

Fun remains the top priority, ensuring every child’s first experience with soccer is both positive and memorable. Our enthusiastic coaches, backed by the proven methods of MLS youth development, encourage players to grow in confidence, build physical skills, and develop a lasting love for the game.

Offered year-round, Radford Soccer strikes the ideal balance between enjoyment and skill development—giving every child the tools to thrive on and off the field.

Little Ballers: Radford

Radford Little Ballers is a first-experience basketball program designed to introduce young athletes to the core skills of the game in a supportive and fun environment. Each session blends engaging drills and interactive games that teach passing, dribbling, shooting and teamwork while keeping players active and excited to learn.

Because fun is the foundation of every Radford athletic program, Little Ballers ensures each child’s first experience with basketball is positive and rewarding. Our enthusiastic coaching staff creates an encouraging atmosphere, and the curriculum is grounded in modern youth development research.

Quest Flag Football

Our Quest Flag Football Program offers an energetic and engaging way for youth to learn the fundamentals of the game in a safe, non-contact environment. Each session combines interactive drills, scrimmages and athletic development activities designed to build both confidence and skill.

Players will develop essential football techniques such as passing, receiving, route running and defensive positioning, while learning how to apply these skills in game-like situations. Strength, agility and conditioning elements are integrated throughout the season to encourage overall athletic development.

New players are always welcome, and every season begins with the basics before progressing to more advanced strategies. With research-backed methods and a strong emphasis on safety, our program ensures a fun, challenging and rewarding experience.

Basketball: Quest/Teen

Our Quest and Teen Basketball Program combines interactive drills, scrimmages and strength & conditioning sessions to help players grow both on and off the court. Each semester begins with foundational skills and builds toward advanced, game-like scenarios, ensuring both newcomers and returning players can succeed.

Participants will develop practical abilities such as shooting, passing and dribbling, while also learning to apply these skills in complex gameplay situations. Training sessions incorporate plyometric, aerobic and anaerobic exercises designed to support overall athletic development and physiological growth.

All techniques are research-based and delivered with a strong emphasis on safety, making the program both challenging and enjoyable. Whether you’re just starting or looking to elevate your game, this program is designed to help you reach the next level.

Club Baseball: Quest/Teens

Our Club Baseball Program emphasizes both individual skill development and team-based gameplay. Participants will strengthen their abilities in hitting, fielding, throwing and base running, while also learning how to apply these skills in live game scenarios.

Conditioning sessions are interwoven throughout the semester, including aerobic training, agility drills and strength-focused exercises to promote overall athletic performance. Every season begins with foundational fundamentals before progressing to advanced strategy and in-game application.

Whether you’re stepping onto the diamond for the first time or refining your skills, our research-based training approach and commitment to safety make the program both fun and developmental.

Club Soccer: Quest/Teens

The Club Soccer Program blends skill development, tactical awareness and physical conditioning to help athletes elevate their game. Sessions focus on ball control, dribbling, passing and shooting, along with defensive and offensive strategy in live scrimmage play.

Players will also participate in aerobic and anaerobic training, speed drills and plyometric exercises to improve agility and endurance. Each semester starts with core fundamentals and gradually moves toward complex team play, making the program welcoming to both newcomers and experienced players.

With research-backed training methods and a strong focus on safety, the Club Soccer Program provides a competitive yet inclusive environment for growth.

Teen Volleyball

The Teen Volleyball Program is designed to develop strong technical skills and foster teamwork in a supportive, competitive setting. Players will learn and refine serving, passing, setting, hitting and blocking techniques, with a focus on applying these skills in game-like scenarios.

Each session includes strength and conditioning elements, including plyometric and aerobic training, to enhance vertical jump, agility and endurance. New players are encouraged to join, as the program begins each semester with fundamentals before progressing into more complex drills and competitive play.

With research-supported methods and an emphasis on safe, structured training, the Teen Volleyball Program empowers athletes to improve their game while building confidence on and off the court.
