Ski Program Registration Open

See you on the slopes! Ski Program opens at the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh

As we head into the New Year and deeper into winter in Wisconsin, the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh is excited to start the 2024 Ski Program season. This program is open to Club members in 5th grade through high school to allow youth from all backgrounds to experience the fun and challenging aspects of hitting the slopes. Throughout the next few weeks, participants will travel to Nordic Mountain in Wild Rose, WI, where they will have the opportunity to take lessons in either snowboarding or skiing. Those who show progress and responsibility throughout these program days are then invited to attend a weekend ski trip at Snow River Mt. Report in Wakefield, MI.

Registration for the program officially opened on January 3rd in preparation for the first ski trip on Wednesday, January 17th. Additional program days include January 24th, January 31st, and February 7th, with a weather make-up date on February 12th. This program costs $50 per student, as well as an additional $50 to attend the weekend trip. However, financial assistance is available for those who may need it.

The Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh is excited to have been chosen to receive a grant from the Share Winter Foundation for the second year in a row in support of this program. Share Winter aims to improve the lives, health, and fitness of youth through winter sports, and strives to make winter sports accessible to a broader, more diverse community. We are extremely thankful for their support in helping us ❄️share winter ❄️ with our Club kids!

If you have any questions about the program, would like to get involved, or sign up your child, please contact our Director of Youth & Family Engagement, Danielle Bittelman, at danielleb@bgcosh.org.
