Summer 2018 Registration Now Open!

Summer registration opens January 15 at the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh and our calendar is packed with exciting things for kids and teens ages 5-18! Pre-registration and the first week’s payment are required in order to sign up children 5-12 years old.

There will be 250 spots for kids ages 7-12 and 65 spots for kids ages 5-6 years old in our summer program and spots fill up fast so you are encouraged to register now. We will serve children on a first come, first served basis. There is no quota for teens.

Registering your child means they will get to take part in all the Club has to offer including programs like Little Brewer’s Baseball, Lego League, Healthy Habits Cooking, Girls Etiquette & Afternoon Tea, STRIDE Academy, Swimming Class with the YMCA, the Summer Reading Program with the Public Library, and teen camps just to name a few.

Plus, there are a bunch of exciting field trips lined up. Each age group will have the opportunity to go on several field trips to places like Camp Radford, Noah’s Ark, Monkey Joe’s, Mulberry Lane Farm, Old World Wisconsin and more!

Also, in order to keep your 5-12 year old child’s spot in our program through the summer, they will be expected to participate at least 3 days per week and will need to be to the Club each day by no later than 10 a.m. Your child can be absent for up to one week this summer without having to pay the weekly fee.

Summer registration is open at the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh at 501 E Parkway Avenue during regular hours or at one of our four After School Care sites, Jacob Shapiro, Jefferson,
Lakeside and Smith schools, from 2:45-6:00 p.m. M-F.

If you have any questions about 5-12 year old summer registration, please contact Child Care Director Lindsay Clark at lindsayc@bgcosh.org or 920-233-1414, ext. 14.

Teens will have the opportunity to sign up for special week long camps Monday-Friday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. during each week of summer. Camps will include things like kayaking, fishing, self-defense, 3-D printing, sports, babysitting and CPR training and more.

Each camp will have an associated fee ranging from $5 – $100. Teens must be signed up and paid in full for each camp they participate in prior to the first day of camp. Sign-ups will begin online on our website May 1st.

Teens who don’t want to sign up for camps can come to the CLUB Teen Center Monday-Friday from 11:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. During that time, teens can participate in a wide variety of activities, tournaments and programs, video games, computers, sports, music, cooking classes, and daily challenges and games.

Any questions regarding teen camps or the CLUB Teen Center should be directed to Teen Center Director Tiffanie Bolling at tiffanieb@bgcosh.org or 920-233-1414, ext. 12.

The first day of summer at the Club is Friday, June 8th and ends on Friday, August 24th. During the summer, the Club opens at 6:30 a.m. to accommodate early working families, and stays open until 5:30 p.m. to accommodate families with later working hours.

Yearly membership fees are $25.00 for the first child, $15.00 for the second child and $10.00 for any additional children, not to exceed $50.00 per family.
