Boys & Girls Club Blog

Patty Shea

Patty joined the Oshkosh Boys & Girls Club Board in June of 2019.  She and her husband, Dan, are originally from New Hampshire where they were both club kids.  They know firsthand the difference the Club can make in a child’s life.  As big supporters of the Club, joining the Board seemed like another great way to help make a difference.

Patty & Dan were high school sweethearts, originally meeting at The Manchester Boys & Girls Club. They married in 1990 and moved to the Oshkosh area in 1992 where they have raised 2 daughters, Jessica & Danielle. In 2006, they started an electrical contracting company, Shea Electric & Communications, LLC and Enlighten Digital Technologies in 2020. Patty also enjoys improving the wellness of individuals thru her business, Sanguine LLC, using acupressure, reiki and other holistic modalities. Prior to these ventures, Patty worked in the insurance industry for approx. 25 years.

Patty is a member of the Oshkosh Chamber, Chamber Ambassadors Group, Women’s Fund Board, Women’s Fund Power Team, as well as GEMS giving circle.  Dan also serves on various committees, boards and is actively involved in the community as well. Patty is a past graduate of Leadership Oshkosh 2012 and recipient of the Rotarian of the Year award in 2014.

In her spare time, Patty enjoys time with her family and friends, long walks, exercise, traveling, and biking. Patty’s favorite quote is “Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible.”
